Iryna has 15 years of experience in policy analysis and research, and her current work covers economic considerations related to trade policy and regulations, including those related to sustainability. Her areas of expertise are policy design and evaluation, cost-benefit analysis, and the assessment of environmental and socio-economic impacts.
Currently a Senior Economist at the World Bank, Iryna leads analytical work on the nexus of Non-Tariff Measures (NTMs), Quality Infrastructure (QI), and Trade Facilitation (TF). She provides strategic support to country teams and manages collaborations with international organizations working on related issues, including the WTO, OECD, IMF, UNCTAD, and ITC.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Iryna led policy-oriented economic analysis at Ricardo Energy & Environment, KPMG, and the Chilean Ministry of Energy. She has directed multidisciplinary teams to develop long-term decarbonization strategies, NDCs, and regulatory frameworks across the European Union and Latin America.
