Sigal Oren
I am an associate professor at the Department of Computer Science, Ben-Gurion University. I am currently on Sabbatical as a Koret fellow at Stanford University.
Previously to joining BGU, I was postdoc at the Hebrew University and MSR Herzeliya hosted by Noam Nisan. I graduated from Cornell University where I was fortunate to have Jon Kleinberg as my advisor. As a student, I had the privilege of being a Microsoft Research PhD fellow.
My research area is Algorithmic Game Theory. In particular, I'm interested in using tools from theoretical computer science, game theory and behavioral economics to understand social phenomena.Â
