Free event open to club members and the public.

Meet 10am at this DEEP Wildlife Management area that is open to the public (when not leased to dog training groups) to let dogs run free on selected dates, including this one.  Nod Brook is a 137 acre rectangular unfenced area along the Farmington River with three ponds, rolling meadows and sandy walkways.  It is God’s country for dogs!

Directions: Accessible via the Tower Office Park, 89 Hopmeadow Street, Rte. 10, Simsbury, CT.  We’ll meet in the far right rear of their paved parking lot, NOT down the dirt DEEP road.  That way we can access meadows, then the river and then the ponds for an hour and a half ramble.
