Dr. Siddhartha Mehta received his MS in agriculture engineering and PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida with specialization in nonlinear controls and robotics. He is currently with the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida as a Research Associate Scientist. Dr. Mehta's research interests include visual servo control, nonlinear robust control, networked control systems, control of multi-agent systems,
nonlinear estimation, and co-robotics with applications in agricultural robotics and military systems. His research activities are funded by AFRL/MN, AFRL/RV, AFOSR, USDA, and private industry. He is recipient of the University of Florida Technology Innovator Award (2012). Dr. Mehta is a senior member of AIAA and a member of IEEE. He is an associate editor of the Journal of the Franklin Institute, and a member of several IEEE technical committees.
