SICSA Universities host and participate in a wide range of events, seminars, workshops, summer schools and conferences to promote informatics and computing science research; to develop and grow academic, business and industry relationships; and to attract the best students and academics to come and work in Scotland. Distinguished Visitors

To request funding for your event, please contact the relevant 
Theme Leader and the SICSA Executive Officer (admin@sicsa.ac.uk) outlining your event and the level of sponsorship you are requesting.
 
SICSA PhD Conference

The SICSA PhD Conference 2014 will take place on 9th and 10th June at the University of St Andrews.  Please see the conference web site for full details of the programme and speakers.   









SICSA DEMOfest 

The 6th annual SICSA DEMOfest was held at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow on Tuesday 5th November 2013, featuring 60 exhibitors including 57 research projects from across SICSA. The day also featured two workshops on Cyber Security and Data Science meets Smart Cities which proved to be very popular. See what the event was all about from the highlights video below:

DEMOfest North took place in in Aberdeen on 11th February 2014, featuring 40 exhibitors from across SICSA and workshops in SMART Tourism and Big Data.
