Course Overview

Most applications fail because they are built with little knowledge of what the users really need and what they can do. They can’t find the information they are looking for on the screen; a small slip creates a huge loss of data; it is too hard to find the features they are looking for; features they want are not offered.

It doesn’t have to be this way. The secret is understanding users' real needs and their capabilities, and then designing to delight them.
