Tea Dueling - Pawleys Island Spring Championship

Post date: Jan 28, 2016 7:44:37 PM

hushCon hosts a Tea Duel at the Waccamaw Neck Branch Library in Pawleys Island! Can you brave the perils of the tea? Are your nerves steady enough to get a sopped and soggy tea biscuit from the cup into your mouth without it exploding all over the table? Show up and prove your grit!

Join the tea party and celebrate a history that never was, an adventurous time when the world was powered by tea and a spirit of adventure. Friends and families are invited to come try a variety of teas, play games, and compete in a tea biscuit dunk-off.

We will be following the guidelines set forth by The Honourable Association of Tea Duellists.

Tea duelling may be engaged in to settle a dispute or challenge, or as a sporting

pursuit. It is a fun sport designed to be enjoyable and entertaining and all

participants are strongly urged to remember this at all times.
