  • Regional Science Fair Results!!!

Students from the MaST Research Institute placed 1st in 9 out of the 12 categories (75%!) entered at this year's Sarasota Regional Science and Engineering Fair.  In all, 10 students received 1st in their category, as there were 2 MRI winners in the Physics Category.  With an increased level of competition, the fact the MRI placed 1st in this many categories speaks volumes about the work and effort our students put forth.

Congratulations to the following students on winning the overall prize in their respective categories:

    CHEMISTRY - Nhu Le

    COMPUTER SCIENCE - Colton Moler

    EARTH SCIENCE - Holly Finehout

    ENGINEERING - Gerad Ross

    ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE - Rebecca Elsishans

    MICROBIOLOGY - Katie Taunton

PHYSICS - Allison Engwall & Conor Shea

    ZOOLOGY - Donovan Keene

  • Donovan Keene Admitted to Harvard

Congratulations to Donovan Keene on his admission to Harvard University to be a part of the class of 2018!  Last year Harvard has a less than 6% admission rate, so this is obviously an amazing achievement!

    Way to go Donovan!!!
