Tri-It Triathlon

Held at the start of Shorewood Hills' Fourth of July festivities, the Tri-It Triathlon is a great way for families to have fun and participate in a triathlon together. The distances for both adults and kids are shorter than in standard triathlons to give more people a chance to try it out - including younger children!

Registration at the Shorewood Hills Community Pool (901 Swarthmore Court) begins at 8:30 AM. We'll have volunteers there to help participants sign waivers, collect donations, and answer route questions. There will be two heats starting at 9AM:

  • Adults and teenagers: 250m swim/7km bike/3km run; and
  • Kids twelve years old and under: 150m swim/3km bike/1.6m run (the kids' heat starts shortly after the last adults exit the pool)

This event runs smoothly with the help of about 20 volunteers. Most are needed at stations along the routes to cheer on participants and help them stay on track. Volunteer times vary depending on task.

Thank you for making it happen!
