• Jun 2025 - Chirdeep paper titled "Machine Learning-Based Prediction of Failure Modes and Damage Thresholds of Corroded Bridge Piers" published in Structures, Elsevier Journal

• Jun 2025 - Dr. Shivang Shekhar and Mr. Vivek Singh recognized as CDRI fellow. Dr. Shivang's research proposal on enhancing infrastructure resilience to disasters considering climate change has been selected by the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure under its prestigious Fellowship Programme 2025–2026.

• May 2025 - Dr. Shivang Shekhar organized a workshop (as Co-coordinator) with Dr. KV Uday (Coordinator) and Dr. Maheshreddy Gade on "Structural Safety Audit of Built Environment" at IIT Mandi for DDMA Bilaspur, 26th May - 28th May 2025

• Mar 2025 - Under the expert guidance of Dr. Shivang Shekhar, Deepak Kumar, Aayushi Thakur and Abhishek Kamal won 1st Prize in the National Level Competition for Civil/Structural Engineering Students – Best Innovative Structural Steel Design, organized by Institute for Steel Development and Growth (INSDAG)

• Dec 2024 - Mr. Divesh Sharma represented MH-RESIST Lab in the Structural Engineering Convention (SEC 2024) at NIT Trichy, Tamil Nadu, December 12th – 14th, 2024. He presented two papers titled “Flood vulnerability assessment of riverine bridge incorporating scouring effects” and “Seismic performance enhancement of scoured riverine bridges considering scour protection” at the conference.

• Dec 2024 - Mr. Saksham Sharma represented MH-RESIST Lab in the Structural Engineering Convention (SEC 2024) at NIT Trichy, Tamil Nadu, December 12th – 14th, 2024. He presented the paper titled “Service Load Reliability Assessment of Concrete Bridges Considering Climate Change Effects” at the conference.

• Dec 2024 - Ms. Diksha Kumari represented MH-RESIST Lab in the Structural Engineering Convention (SEC 2024) held at NIT Trichy, Tamil Nadu, from December 12th to 14th, 2024. She delivered a presentation on her paper titled “Seismic Performance Assessment of Tall Bridges Designed as per Modern Indian Codes”.

• Nov 2024 - Mr. Divesh Sharma represented MH-RESIST Lab in the National Conference on Futuristic Structural Engineering (StructE NATCON 2024), held at PhD House, New Delhi, November 8th – 10th, 2024. He presented the paper titled “Machine-Learning-Based Flood Vulnerability Assessment of Riverine Bridges Incorporating Scouring Effects” at the conference.

• Aug 2024 - Mr. Pushpender Kumar joined as a 5th PhD student at MH-RESIST Lab

• Jun 2024 - Mr. Mayank Gangwar represented MH-RESIST Lab in the 18th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (WCEE2024), held in Milan from June 30th to July 5th, 2024. He presented two papers titled “Influence of Flood-Induced Scour on Time-Dependent Seismic Vulnerability of Bridges” and “Machine-Learning Based Seismic Damage Limit State Models for Corroded RC Bridge Piers” at the conference. The second paper presented at the conference received the “Most Downloaded Paper Award” among 4250 participants in the World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (WCEE-2024).

• Jun 2024 - Mr. Vivek represented MH-RESIST Lab in the 12th International Conference on Bridge Maintenance, Safety and Management (IABMAS 2024) at Copenhagen, Denmark, June 24th – June 28th 2024. He presented the paper titled “Enhancing seismic resilience of aging highway bridges using FRP retrofit” at the conference.

• Oct 2024 - Mr. Vikram Kumar R first MTech (R) candidate graduated from MH-RESIST Lab. He defended his thesis on 28th Nov 2024 and later joined Ph.D. at University of Strathclyde, Glasgow

• Mar 2024 - Mr. Divesh Sharma represented MH-RESIST Lab in the International Conference on "Natural Disaster: Risk Analysis, Management and Mitigation” (NDRAMM 2024) at NIT Silchar, Assam, March 23rd – 24th, 2024. He presented his paper, “Machine-Learning-Based Seismic Vulnerability Assessment of Highway Bridge Class,” which received the Best Paper Award at the conference.

• Dec 2023 - Mr. Saksham Sharma represented MH-RESIST Lab in the International Conference on Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change (ICESCC 2023) at NIT Meghalaya, December 21st – 22nd, 2023. He presented the paper titled “Impact of Climate Change on Structural Reliability of Reinforced Concrete Bridge Girders” at the conference.

• Nov 2023 - Dr. Shivang Shekhar received "Promising Young Structural Engineer Award" for the year 2022 from the Indian Association of Structural Engineers (IAStructE)

• Oct 2022 - Dr. Shivang Shekhar selected as an Early Career Editorial Board for the ASCE-ASME Journal of Risk and Uncertainty in Engineering Systems, Part A: Civil Engineering & Part B: Mechanical Engineering

• Aug 2022 - Mr. Vikram Kumar R joined as 1st MTech (R) student at MH-RESIST Lab

• Aug 2022 - Mr. Vivek Singh and Mr. Mayank Gangwar joined as 2nd and 3rd PhD student at MH-RESIST Lab

• Jun 2022 - Dr. Shivang Shekhar received SERB Startup research Grant

• May 2022 - Dr. Shivang Shekhar joined IIT Mandi as Assistant Professor and setup MH-RESIST Lab

• Mar 2021 - Mr. Chirdeep NR joined as a first Ph.D. student with Dr. Shivang Shekhar

• Aug 2020 - Dr. Shivang received "Excellence in Ph.D. Research Award (Best Thesis Award)" at 58th Convocation, IIT Bombay, 2020

• Aug 2020 -  Dr. Shivang Shekhar joined BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus as an Assistant Professor
