Welcome to the web site for the Shire of Twae Linnes in the Kingdom of Artemisia, a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), an international organization dedicated to the study and re-enactment of the Middle Ages. There are no spectators in the SCA, and every person plays a part in creating the atmosphere.
Mundanely, the Shire of Twae Linnes located in Southern Idaho covers from Raft River in the East to Glens Ferry in the West, and in the south from the Nevada Boarder to Sun Valley in the North.
In April the Shire hosts an event known to most as Spring Thaw
In August the Shire's premeir camping event is known to most as Hearthwarming
In November the Shire's Birthday celebration is known to most as Iron Balls
Monthly activites are held also.

The content of this site is here as a resource both for the populace of The Shire of Twae Linnes, and for those who would like to know more about the people, arts, laws, and customs. Recognized as a Shire in the Kimgdom of Artemisia.
The populace of the shire devotes their free time in all manner of sport (heavy fighting, archery, rapier fighting, equestrian activities), crafts (leatherwork, spinning, calligraphy ect..), and educational activities (classes or research). The populace holds tournaments, attend feasts, and enjoy the Middles Ages with classes and revals held monthly.
