3...2...1... blast off!
A Virtual Battle of Interstellar Spacecraft

THURSDAY, SEPT. 13th, 2012
GOOGLE SAN FRANCISCO OFFICE

Are you ready to commandeer
your own virtual starship?

Feel the power as you program your own spaceship. Experience the thrill of maneuvering your craft in a virtual universe.  Undergo challenges as you battle head-to-head with other participants for hard-earned bragging rights and some really cool Google swag.

If this sounds like a mission you'd like to embark on, then join us for Ship Wars!  This is an invitation-only event for industry computer science engineers, programmers, and developers.

You'll be writing a virtual starship in a to-be-announced language. We'll then run the "tournament" and put your ships head-to-head to see which ships will come out on top.

Engineers from the Bay Area professional community are invited to this event and Googlers from the San Francisco office will attend and help facilitate gameplay.

We'll provide yummy finger foods and beverages to keep you fueled up as you compete!
