Research areas: coupled climate dynamics, ocean-atmosphere interactions, climate modeling, tropical dynamics, past and future climate changes
I am a climate dynamicist. I will join the Nicholas School of the Environment, Duke University as an assistant professor in May, 2021. Our lab combines observations, theory, and climate modeling to study climate dynamics on a broad range of timescales, with a particular focus on ocean-atmosphere interactions. The research topics we study include El Niño, ocean inter-basin interactions, global warming, paleoclimate, etc. Our lab is always looking for passionate undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars to join us. Please check out Openings and feel free to contact me, if you are interested.
