After the state of the union address, I was able to catch Michele Bachman's response. Even though Fox News wouldn't carry it, the Tea Party Express website streamed it live.
I've heard so much about her, I was curious.
According to Wikipedia, she represents a district just north of the Twin Cities.
Now, that's the part I don't understand.
I could tell right off she's not from Minnesota.
Obviously, she's from outer space.
So, when did she become naturalized citizen? And when did she first meet the residency requirement to represent her district?
And why is she keeping her origin a secret?
I called her office Washington and asked if they would send me a copy of her birth certificate or at least a website link where I could see a photo of it and they just hung up on me.
I give her the benefit of the doubt that she meets the residency requirement to represent her congressional district, but if she has presidential aspirations, the sooner the facts come out, the better.
The biography on her very own website does not say where she was born. It doesn't say the state, the country or the planet.
It does say her middle name is Marie, but without seeing her birth certificate, how can we know that to be true?
If in fact she was born 250 million miles away, that would put her in our solar system, but without seeing her birth certificate, who's to say her middle name isn't actually Klatoo?
I would love nothing better than to embrace this woman as a fellow, natural born American.
I trust her, but as Ronald Reagan said, trust but verify.
So if there is a birth certificate, why hide it? What's on that birth certificate that they don't want us to see?
Her immigration papers are probably all in order. I have no reason to believe otherwise.
I think what sort of bugs me is the secrecy, the denial, the deception.
Americans respect the truth.
That's all we are asking.
