  WSMTA/Music Artistry Program (MAP)

Students who are ready to perform 2 pieces from will be asked to participate in WSMTA Music Artistry Program.   One piece must be memorized.  To compete in the Non-Keyboard Competition the student must have performed two pieces from memory in the Music Artistry Program (MAP).

Presenting a program for a visiting artist is a big step!

For those students interested in competing, Tri-City Chapter and District VI offer a Non-Keyboard Competition usually in March and after the MAP Program.  A winner and honorable mentions are selected by an adjudicator.  The winner will play on the WSMTA State Conference Honors Recital in June.
