The Transition Altitude inside local Controlled Air Space has changed to 6000ft AMSL e.g. Birminham CTA & Daventry CTA, so the base of all CAS below this is now an Altitude, NOT a Flight Level. The diagram show the nearby step-downs. Amber=4500ft, Red=5500ft, Green=5500ft. Always refer to up to date chart.
