My Biography

I obtained the Ph.D. degree in Statistics at the Department of Statistics, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. The research work during my Ph.D. study is mainly focused on the gene regulatory networks inference under Boolean networks using Bayesian approach. Shortly after that, I started my postdoc research work at D
epartment of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Arnold School of Public Health, the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC, USA, then moved to Division of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Environmental Health Science, School of Public Health, the University of Memphis, Memphis, TN, USA, with my postdoc advisors and continued the same position till Mar 2015.                                                                                                                                                             Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral scholar at Dr. Xin He 's lab at Department of Human Genetics, University of Chicago, Chicago, IL. The current projects focus on statistical rare variant analysis, especially we are developing statistical methods to integrate various biological annotations to identify risk genes associated with neuro-developmental disorders, such as Autism and schizophrenia.
