Dr. Shengheng Liu received the B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics engineering from the School of Information and Electronics, Beijing Institute of Technology, China, in 2010 and 2017, respectively.
He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Information Science and Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. Since 2020, he has also been a Consultant for the Purple Mountain Laboratories, Nanjing, China. Prior to joining SEU, he held a postdoctoral position at the Institute for Digital Communications, School of Engineering, The University of Edinburgh, UK, from 2017 to 2018. Dr. Liu also worked as a Visiting Research Associate from 2015 to 2016 at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, USA, under the support of the China Scholarship Council (CSC).

Dr. Liu is a recipient of the 2017 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award from the China Institute of Communications (CIC). He is a frequent reviewer for several top-tier journals, including IEEE Trans. Signal Process., IEEE Trans. Wireless Commun., IEEE Trans. Ind. Electron., and IEEE Trans. Pattern Anal. Mach. Intell. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, CIE and CIC.
