I am a National Science Foundation (NSF) Postdoctoral Fellow in Biology, splitting time working with Drs. Jens Krause (Leibniz Institute), Dennis Higgs (University of Windsor), and Robert Tanguay (Oregon State University).  I study how groups develop and change over time. Within groups I understand the traits associated with different social roles of individuals in the lab and field. I use a variety of techniques to answer these questions including social network analyses, vital staining, imaging techniques, and geometric morphometrics.
