Po-Chi Shih was born on October 9, 1980 in Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Tunghai University in 2003 and 2005, and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University in 2012.
