About Counselling

Counselling can help at times in your life when you are facing change – sudden changes like bereavement or planned changes like moving house or job. At times of stress, depression or simply at times when your problems seem overwhelming.

I do not offer advice, neither will I tell you what to do, but I will listen to you, seek to understand and encourage you to explore your issues and support you to become empowered to make necessary changes or decisions.

I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor, which means I have trained in and incorporate different methodologies and theoretical models into my work.  I will treat you with respect and compassion and sessions will be tailored to your needs. As a member of the BACP ( British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) I abide by their code of ethics.

I offer short term brief counselling or open ended as suits you and I offer short term couples counselling designed to help resolve conflict and affect positive change within relationships.

My practice is a very short walk from Walton on Thames mainline station (20 minutes from Waterloo). If you are travelling by car there is plenty of free parking in the street.  I have a comfortable room where I see clients.
