Syed S. Husain has recently earned his doctorate from School of Computational and Integrative Sciences at Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. His research work is focused on studies of data-driven complex socioeconomic systems using interdisciplinary techniques from nonlinear dynamics, time series analyses, network science, data science, differential equations and machine learning at the intersection of sociology. He has a wide range of teaching and teaching assistant experience from the courses spanning from Social Networks and Epidemiology, Complex Systems, MA in Public Policy at JGU, Agent Based Modelling at ICTS, Statistical Computation and Nonlinear Dynamics. His research focuses on structure and dynamics of various complex systems using real world data and the microscopic interaction resulting in group phenomena and thereby providing insight to data inspired policy recommendations. He presented his work at many places in India and abroad and has been a member of Italian Physical Society in the past. At present, Dr. Husain is working on data, complexity and cities. He also has teaching experiences across diverse groups and varying disciplines to his credit.
Dr. S. Shariq Husain, is a Ph.D from School of Computational & Integrative Sciences(SCIS) in Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU), New Delhi. His doctoral advisor is Prof. Anirban Chakraborti (JNU), and co-advisor is Dr. Anindya S. Chakrabarti (IIM-A). Dr. Husain had his Post-graduation in Electronics from the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He also had A1, A2, B1 level in French Language. His thesis is centered on “Studies of complex dynamics in socioeconomic systems”.
His research interest includes but not limited to Complex Systems Dynamics, Sociophysics/Computational Social Science, Nonlinear Dynamics, Innovation Diffusion, Statistical Physics, Network Science, Data Analysis, Machine Learning, Nanoscience & Nanotechnology and Biological applications of Nano-sciences and Simulation(Graphene & MoS2).
Dr. Husain is also extending his work in the domain of Fractional Calculus, System Sciences, understanding of Malliavin Calculus and has a wide spectrum of teaching interests. With an additional interest in the socioeconomic aspects of science and its application to society, incorporating interdisciplinarity and collaboration, seek answers to questions related to culture, heritage and conservation science. Also, with Prof. Chakraborti, he initiated to explore for the Mathematical Modeling of scripts of Indus Valley Civilization and analysis of Satellite Data for the river Saraswati to unravel the undergoing dynamics with interdisciplinary perspective and flavor of Physics.

Je suis S. Shariq Husain, Ph.D de la School of Computational & Integrative Sciences (SCIS) de Université Jawaharlal Nehru, New Delhi. Je travaille sous la direction de Prof . Anirban Chakraborti. J'ai eu mon troisième cycle en électronique de la Faculté de génie et de la technologie, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. J'ai eu aussi le niveau A2 en langue française. Mon intérêt de recherche comprend Nanoscience et Nanotechnologie et applications biologiques de NanoSciences. Aussi, nous sommes à la recherche pour la modélisation mathématique des scripts de l'Indus Valley Civilisation.
Mes intérêts de recherche incluent, mais sans s'y limiter, la dynamique des systèmes complexes, la sociophysique / les sciences sociales computationnelles, la dynamique non linéaire, la diffusion de l'innovation, la physique statistique, la science des réseaux, l'analyse de données et l'apprentissage automatique.
