I am an HCI researcher. I am interested in ICTD, critical computing, wellbeing and feminist-HCI. I use both quantitative and qualitative (ethnographic) techniques to study marginalised rural populations in Bangladesh and I aim to design computational tools and systems to address the challenges for rural low-education population while accessing information.

Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Information Science at Cornell University. I work in the Social Interaction Lab and I am advised by Dr. Susan R. Fussell.

Before Cornell, I was a Lecturer in CS at Independent University, Bangladesh. I have also lectured at University of South Asia, Bangladesh. Before that, I worked for PrimeSilicon Technologies, as a Placement and Routing (PnR) Engineer. I am an EEE by training majoring in Telecommunication Engineering and Digital Signal Processing.

My areas of Interest are:
