Please have the indoor temperature setting at 75° or lower during scheduled cleaning times. This is a new policy. It has become necessary to adopt this policy for health reasons. Please understand although it may be comfortable for the home owner that is exerting little energy, it is very uncomfortable for the cleaners that are moving constantly and exerting large amounts of energy to thoroughly clean the home.

Q: Will you remind me that you are scheduled to come?
A: Absolutely! I call or email you the day before your appointment just as a friendly reminder.

Q: Must I be home during the appointment?
A: No. I have a mounted key lock box to secure all keys I am provided. (If you have an alarm please be sure I have the code, the police don't like making those trips out!)

Q: Do you give a time of arrival?
A: Yes. I do ask that you understand I travel across 4 counties so I cannot give an exact time. I try my best to arrive when I state I will. If I am stuck in traffic I will call to let you know I am running slightly behind.

Q: What should I do to prepare for your service?
A: To best utilize my service try to have paperwork and toys picked up prior to my arrival. Unless specifically asked to, I will not move paperwork because I do not want to mess up your system!

Q: Are you licensed?
A: No.  Actually any company in Maryland that says they are licensed are being deceitful; t
here is no license for cleaning services in Maryland! However, S.B. Cleaning is a registered  DBA Company with the state of Maryland's Department of Assessments and Taxation Division. This can be verified @ http://sdatcert3.resiusa.org/UCC-Charter/CharterSearch_f.aspx

Q: Is S.B. Cleaning insured?
A: Yes, S.B. Cleaning is fully insured and bonded. Documentation can be provided to show current coverage and insured amounts to current clientele. 

Q: How long should I expect you to be in my home at each visit?
A: There is no specific time allotment.
As a rule of thumb:
A 1500 sq ft home typically takes 2-2.5 hrs.
A 2000 sq ft home typically takes 2.5-3.5 hrs.
A 2300 sq ft home typically takes 3.5-4 hrs.

Q: Do you use your own supplies?
A: I prefer to use my equipment since I am familiar with my cleaning agents and equipment, however, I will use your supplies at your request.

Q: Why do you ask if I have a jacuzzi/spa tub?
A: That answer is simple... They take longer to clean!

Q: Will you clean if my dog is in the house?
A: That answer is not always cut and dry... I love dogs, but I have recently been bitten (twice) by a clients dog. If you know your dog is not going to react well to unfamiliar faces please crate him/her or some how give us the opportunity to get to know one another first.
