I am a Data Scientist at Intuit, applying Machine Learning to solve financial challenges. For more than 5 years, I was working at NASA Ames Research Center I obtained my Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee in 2012, and my Bachelors' degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India in 2007.
My research interests include probabilistic methods, risk and reliability analysis, Bayesian networks, structural health monitoring, diagnosis and prognosis, treatment of epistemic uncertainty, and multidisciplinary analysis.
My dissertation titled "Uncertainty Quantification and Integration in Engineering Systems" was advised by Prof. Sankaran Mahadevan, Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Vanderbilt University. It focused on uncertainty quantification, integration, management in order to aid in decision making with respect to engineering systems. This research was applied to civil, mechanical, and aerospace structures.
