My second MFA residency was amazing and incredibly productive. I did a lot of outlining for the second half of ROTC-Land and learned a lot great craft techniques. I will be working with Sarah Braunstein this semester - one of my favorite new writers - and am very excited to learn from her.

My first semester of grad school is all over and my second residency is just one week away! My collection of linked stories is coming along great. Going to submit a few of the stories and see if I can get a couple published.

It's been a very productive last few weeks. I've just finished chapter 24 of Unlikely King and passed the 50,000 word milestone. At this rate, I should reach my goal of finishing the first draft this summer.

My anthologies are coming along well. After the End, Speculative Long Story, and Beyond the Grave are each roughly 50% done. I predict they'll be out this summer. And "Unlikely King" is coming along nicely as well. I'm picking up momentum, trying to write every day. I'm on Chapter 18 of a planned 44. Hopefully that will be done this summer too.
