Noam Shamir

Noam Shamir is an Associate Professor of Operations Strategy at the Coller School of Management, Tel Aviv University. His research specializes in supply chain management and platform economics with a particular emphasis on information acquisition, incentives for information sharing, the economics of information technology, and contracting within supply chains.
Shamir's work has been featured in top-tier academic journals, including Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Marketing Science, and Production and Operations Management. Before joining Tel Aviv University, he served as a visiting scholar at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He also held a visiting position at Yeshiva University in NYC.
He holds a Ph.D. in Business from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, along with an M.S. in Statistics from Stanford. He also earned both an M.S. in Operations Research and a B.S. in Computer Science and Management from Tel Aviv University.
