My name is Shahar Rotberg. I am a Policy Specialist at the Housing Finance Unit under the Research and Innovation Division at The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.

My research focuses on finding solutions to the housing affordability crisis. To do so, I use general equilibrium housing models (aka quantitative macroeconomics). My research sits at the intersection between real estate (residential housing), taxation, and wealth inequality.
