Shaftesbury Orchestra, established some 30 years ago, is a group of amateur musicians who rehearse in term times on Monday nights at Port Regis School, Motcombe, near Shaftesbury.  A map showing the location of the school can be viewed by clicking here.

We end each term with a concert at Port Regis. Entry to concerts is free, with a retiring collection for local charities.

Our conductor is Andrew Cowen, who is a violinist with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

We aim to steadily improve our standard, while at the same time enjoying ourselves!

We welcome enquiries from potential new players - please see Contact Us.   We also invite everybody to come to our concerts - details at Next Concert.
