Coming Workshop - April 29th - May 1st

The  INBRE Program,  Dania M. Rodríguez Vargas, MSc, Silvia Planas, MSc, Instrumentation Specialists, Dr. Riccardo Papa, Sequencing & Genomics Facility Core Director and Dr. Filipa Godoy, PI Microbial Ecology and Genomics Laboratory (MEGL), invite you to participate in the workshop titled:

Use of the NGS Illumina MiSeq System for microbiome data generation and advanced data analyses

This three day workshop is intended for students and faculty that use the Illumina MiSeq and other Illumina platforms. The first two days of this workshop will offer unique training in the procedures related with the preparation of 16S ribosomal RNA gene amplicons for the Illumina MiSeq system. On May 1st, a hands-on 16Sr DNA data analysis training will focus on the use of bioinformatic tools to analyze microbiome data.

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

When visiting the Molecular Sciences Research Center, safety rules must be followed:

  • Wear closed-toe shoes, i.e. tennis shoes, boots
  • Wear appropriate clothing: no string shirts, no shorts
  • Bring your lab coat and safety glasses
  • No food allowed in lab area.
