Bereavement Support

Around May/June we hold a Mass of Remembrance for those who have experienced the grief associated with the loss of a child. This includes the death of a child before birth, after birth or at any age.
Father Terry Kean and the Bereavement Support Team offer the opportunity for family members to participate in a gentle healing remembrance mass.

We warmly invite you or anyone you know who has lost a child, to join us on this evening.

In November of each year, we invite
family members and close friends of parishioners who have died during this past year to a special Remembrance Mass.
At this Mass we pray together as a community and ask our loving God to bring peace and comfort to our lives.

Parishioners are invited to include the names of their friends and family members who have died in the past 12 months on our parish list. To add names to the remembrance list, please give the details to the Bereavement team member who will be in the foyer of the church after all the masses in the weeks leading up to the mass. Alternatively you can contact the Parish Office with the details.

If you are attending the Mass we ask that you arrive a little early to record your name and the name of the person you have come to remember before Mass commences.

A light supper follows the Mass.

If you would like to be put in touch with a member of our Bereavement Support Team, please contact the parish office on 9435 2178 or email montmorency@cam.org.au.
