Annual Meeting 2012 announced

Post date: Mar 19, 2012 3:03:10 AM

SFVNA Members:

We will be holding our annual meeting on Sunday, May 6th at 2:00 p.m. on the patio at the Taylor Ranch Library.  I hope that you will plan to attend and that you will consider getting more involved in the association. The 2-year terms of the current board members will be coming to an end this May.  We need more people for the board.  The reason that having an association is important is because without one the city will not keep us informed of their planned changes for example the widening of Unser or the diversion of more traffic to Unser.

On the survey we conducted last year there were a number of great suggestions to use our park more, including things like placing more doggy bag stations around the entire park to help keep sidewalks clean or playing old movies on the grass on summer nights or a kite day.  The problem is that no one has stepped up to help organize these events. The board cannot do it all – we need your involvement.  Even if you can only help with one thing - that would be great!

So I ask you to please consider becoming a board member or committing to help with an event.

See you on May 6th.

Donna Rigano,

President, SFVNA
