This meeting was moved to Saturday afternoon to fit with the business hours of the Waldwick Library.  The meeting had originally been scheduled for Saturday night at a different location, but the original venue became unavailable.

WORLD ENOUGH AND TIME was actually a pre-meeting video which ran from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

We also showed a clip in which William Shatner appears in a dream sequence in FREE ENTERPRISE.

The July 9, 2016 meeting of the Science Fiction Association of Bergen County was held at the Waldwick Public Library from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  The shift in time and venue was necessitated by the loss of our original site.

We began our 50 Years of STAR TREK Celebration program by screening the hour-long fan film, WORLD ENOUGH AND TIME, with George Takei as Mr Sulu.  This is a very high-quality production we had screened once before years ago.

We showed four additional TREK skits and scenes as part of the program:  "The Wrath of Farrakhan" from IN LIVING COLOR, "STAR TREK:  The Final Voyage" with Eliot Gould from the first season of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, and part of "Just Between You & Me & Kirk & Paul & Carla & Becky" from the second season of THE WONDER YEARS and a dream sequence from the film, ZAPPED.

Phil De Parto, Roy Greenberg, Kathy Holusha and Debra Matofsky brought various collectibles.  Elsa Delman, Kathy, Debra and John Upton talked about attending early STAR TREK conventions.  Everyone in the group shared memories of favorite scenes and episodes.

It was a lovely time for everyone.
