Restoring the Santa Fe River:
Using mobile technology to engage citizens in monitoring the river

Our mission is to assist the Santa Fe Watershed Association in their goal to make the Santa Fe River a "living river" by enriching the collection and organization of environmental information while engaging the citizens of Santa Fe.

  1. Develop an online repository for watershed information
  2. Design a mobile application and companion website to engage citizens in the river restoration process
  3. Demonstrate usefulness of application for educational and planning purposes
