4/19 Update

On Thursday we started manually inputting the Internet infrastructure of Santa Fe into GIS.  To do this, one of us went out on a bike and looked for above ground markers that showed there was cable below the marker.  These boxes come in many forms and are labeled in many different ways so we needed to move slowly and be constantly searching for them.  Some of the boxes were also worn out and/or had graffiti on them.  Others were ripped open and had cables spilling out.
When we came upon a marker we took its GPS location.  We then compiled all of the locations of the markers into an excel file and converted that to a .kml file so it could be uploaded to GIS.
