Sunday 25th August 2019.

We are applying for a UKA license this year for both races - this would mean that your performance will appear in the Power of Ten and Run Britain databases.

Half Marathon  - Starts 9:00 am

The Severn Bridge Half Marathon returns after four very successful and highly acclaimed events.  The race was voted BEST NEW RACE in the Runners World Personal Best awards.

The event starts on the Western (Chepstow) end of the Severn Bridge on the motorway itself and after crossing the bridge and back finishes in the event HQ below J2 of the M48, right next to the car park. The event HQ is on a pleasant grassy area overlooking the bridge enabling us to erect all the marquees needed for registration, changing, baggage etc.

The route suits both first timers and experienced club runners - it provides something a bit different from your average 'run-of-the-mill' city half marathon: stunning views, sea air, scenic country lanes and villages and the opportunity to participate in a unique running event on a closed motorway and across the iconic Severn Bridge. Full course details can be found here.

10k - Starts 10:00 am

The Severn Bridge 10k is on the same day as the Half and finishes in the same place as the half. Event car parking etc is also the same as the Half. The 10k starts in a different place and at a different time to the Half Marathon.
