Benefits To Using Your Card At Non-Caesars Casinos

How To Get Comps, Free Rooms and Other Benefits From Atlantic City To Laughlin
(and several places in between)

Your Seven Stars (and sometimes Diamond) card can get you upgraded players cards at a number of casinos around the country.  Note, though, that these promotions are subject to cancellation at any time and without advance notice.   Often, too, they are limited to new members or members who have been inactive for at least 12 months or more.

Insider Tip

The Borgata's Amphora Lounge is open nightly until at least 9 p.m. (later on weekends and in the summer).  Wait until 7:30 or 8 p.m. and there is usually no line to get in.
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa
- Depending on the terms of the promotion, at the Borgata, Seven Stars and Diamond cardholders will be upgraded to a MyBorgata Black Label card.  In addition to the upgraded card level (which at a minimum waives the daily $5 parking fee, gives you priority status for dinner and hotel reservations, invitations to special Black Label events, and access to special Black Label lines), you might receive $100 in comps or free play, complimentary access for two to the Borgata's Amphora Lounge (more on that later), and a complimentary one-night hotel stay.  The upgraded card is valid for one year, after which time players must earn 1,000 comp dollars by their anniversary date.

Borgata also has a little-publicized Titanium card, but getting information about it is almost impossible.  Borgata claims you must be "invited" to this level.  Here are some of the benefits which I feel pretty confident are offered:
  • Private check-in area with a lounge that serves snacks and drinks – separate from the Amphora Lounge.
  • Complimentary admission for the cardholder and one guest to the Society Club.  The cardholder may invite up to two additional guests for a $20 per person charge to his/her comp account.
  • First seated in all of the restaurants.
  • Special chef-prepared appetizer for the member and guest (only in some of the restaurants).
  • At least $500 bonus slot dollars every month.
  • Complimentary tickets to any of the concerts at the Borgata.
  • Yearly complimentary chartered flights to Las Vegas.
  • Special parties and gifts (Sony Vaio was the holiday gift one year).
  • Suite-only accommodations.
  • More complimentary stays per week.

And, just as Caesars has several internally recognized, at least levels of Diamond and Seven Stars, so does Titanium.

Dover Downs - Your Seven Stars or Diamond card you an upgrade to Dover Downs' Capital Club's Platinum card.  The card will entitle you to use priority lines, free valet parking, invitations to special Platinum events, access – during overnight stays – to the hotel's ninth floor players lounge (limited complimentary beer and wine, soft drinks, light hors d'ouevre, and desserts in late afternoon/evenings, plus continental breakfast), priority reservations and upgrades (based on availability), and an annual birthday gift (usually free slot play).  Dover Downs' "year" is May 1 to April 30.  You must earn 600 tier points in a year to requalify; 1,500 for Elite.  To get the most from the free upgrade, join in early May.

Sands Bethlehem - Your Seven Stars or Diamond card upgraded to the MySands Platinum card which entitles you to free valet parking, accelerated comp earnings, complimentary cocktails on the casino floor, and access to a private lounge area inside the High Rollers section.  The lounge has complimentary hot and cold hors d'ouevre, cookies and other treats.  In addition, there is a small bar, but, while not complimentary, alcoholic beverages are sold at an extremely discounted rate.

The players lounge at Empire City Casino allows Elite and Presidents Club cardholders to bring one guest and enjoy two complimentary drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) per person per day.

Empire City Casino - Located in Yonkers, N.Y., Empire City upgrades Seven Stars cardholders (new members only) to its Empire Club Elite card.  Take your current card and valid ID to any Promotions Booth.  You’ll also get $20 in free play as a sign-up bonus. In addition to other benefits (complimentary valet parking, 15 percent discount at restaurants, annual gift, etc.),  Elite cardholders get complimentary admission to the VIP Lounge.  The lounge is open from 3 to 8:30 p.m.  Daily admission includes up to two complimentary beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).  Beginning at 6 p.m. guests can enjoy light snacks (cold cuts, fruit, etc.).  The lounge closes from 8:30 to 9 p.m., and reopens from 9 to 11 p.m. exclusively for the casino’s Presidents Club members.

Tropicana Atlantic City - Tropicana is currently upgrading Seven Stars cardholders to its
Trop Advantage Platinum card – new and inactive (12 months or more) members only.  Not sure how long this promo will last, but there are lots of nice benefits, including:
  • a three-night stay at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, limo to/from McCarren Airport, $100 resort credit.
  • a three- to eight-day cruise for two in an oceanview cabin on Carnival Cruise Lines.
  • a three-night stay at any Tropicana Entertainment property (Tropicana Evansville, Tropicana Laughlin, Tropicana Aruba, Trop Casino Greenville, Belle of Baton Rouge, Lumieré Place St. Louis or MontBleu in Lake Tahoe).
  • Complimentary valet and self-parking.
  • Admission for up to four at the Advantage Club player lounge (with a five comp dollars per person charge.
Belterra Casino - Both Seven Stars and Diamond cardholders are eligible for upgrades.  Click here for details.

Golden Nugget Laughlin - The casino not only will match tier status in its 24K Select players card program, but upgrade you one level.  Click here for details.
Valley Forge Casino Resort - Through Sept. 5 Valley Forge will upgrade Seven Stars cardholders to Valley Club Elite status.  Customers must present a mailer verifying their tier status, along with their valid players card.   In addition to Seven Stars, other cards eligible are Borgata Black or Titanium, Golden Nugget Elite, Tropicana Black, or Resorts Red Carpet. Parx Elite Xclub and SugarHouse Signature cards also are eligible.   Players will receive a one-time match – slot play or table play – based on the mailer they present.   Upgraded cardholders will receive all benefits of the Elite program through Sept. 30. To maintain Elite status through Dec. 31, customers must earn 300 points before Sept. 5.

If you have non-Caesars casinos in your area, it's worth it to inquire about these "upgrades" and the benefits they provide.
