Seth came to antiquarian horology after a time working as a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer within the manufacturing sector.  He has always been mechanically minded and follows
three generations of Kennedy craftsmen and artists - his grandfather was a watchmaker in the early post war years.  In his earlier years of horological work Seth underwent informal
training from a highly accomplished watchmaker and has since developed his own specialised tools and techniques, a method of learning endorsed in a treasured letter of encouragement
from the late George Daniels.  Seth is an accredited member of the British Horological Institute.

When not working on old watches he can usually be found tinkering with a classic car.
