Survey description: Via email, a group of 517 teachers in West Virginia were asked to complete the 54-item technology survey. The target teacher population was identified through WVEIS and comprised all special educators who administer the Alternate Performance Task Assessment (APTA). The survey was approximately 10-15 minutes in length. Respondents were asked to answer a combination of open- and close-ended questions regarding current technology use and integration specific to students with exceptional needs who take the APTA. Survey items additionally addressed perceived training and technology needs, as well as barriers to more successful technology integration.
