Eric has over twenty years of progressive and diversified experience in high tech, capital equipment industries. Eric has led the design, manufacture, & implementation of service management software. He has also prepared & led multiple companies to ISO 9000 certification & through other quality audits.
He graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, CA in 1996 with a BA in Management and from Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, IA in 1986 with an AAS in Robotics/Automation.
Following graduation in 1986, Eric worked for a US company as a Field Service Engineer, Product Engineer, Process Engineer, Technical Instructor, & Field Service Manager. Eric received the “Employee of the Month” award for providing outstanding on-site support in Europe.
In 1997, Eric joined a $5B global firm where he worked as a Technical Support Engineer, Technical Support Manager, & Factory Interface Manager. Eric built a world-class technical support organization for the company’s American division, earning “Employee of the Year” honors. He prepared & led his service organization through four annual quality audits. Eric co-invented a complete service automation software application that the company applied for two US patents on and sold the manufacturing rights to an investor. Prior to departure, Eric was responsible for four service departments (technical support, equipment start up, documentation, & training).
In 2004, Eric started a service company to direct the design & manufacture of the comprehensive application that automates & integrates sales & service business systems. Eric also served as Director of Operations to a sister company that provided field service technicians and as Director of Quality for the parent company.
