Why Use Me!

Dear prospective customer.

Please consider my qualifications for the at hand. I have outlined some background information about myself and attached and/or pasted a copy of my resume for your consideration.

I am looking to expand my career and enhance my knowledge, expertise, skill, and understanding of the automotive industry and technology in an organized, team-oriented environment.

If you require a high–energy employee with no-excuses attitude and is up to any task, then I am the person you are seeking. My qualifications and experience will enable me to fulfill your expectations.

My experience had given me strong interpersonal skills. I am energetic and able to work with a team or independently with minimum supervision. I am also able to work under pressure.

I believe that my experiences and my skills will enable me to contribute to your high standards. I am confident I can provide many valuable contributions to your business.

I am a business minded automotive professional with a recognized business degree and professional qualifications in automotive. During my years experience in the same position, I have a proven record of honesty and integrity. I am also familiar with computers, Microsoft Office software, Alldata, Identifix and other related software.

While working as an automotive instructor, I taught 20 hours per week with the exception of additional hours to assist in development and operation of the school. I assisted in development of student extra curricular activities as necessary; I would also develop and create project plans for the automotive school as necessary. I was also charged with actively overseeing and participating in all shop and lab activities, and cleanup on a daily basis, as well as perform other job-related duties as assigned.

I have possessed a California State Smog and ASE Certifications for over 25 years. I have my own tools, which include metrics, specialties for foreign cars, scanners and hand held computers. I use all sorts of other tools and equipment, from wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers, lathes, drill presses, hydraulic hoists and jacks, and other power tools, to electronic engine-testing equipment.

At most service centers I was hired to manage shop operations. These included complying with the California Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau of Automotive Repair, State of California Air Resources Board, Federal Air Resources Board and the Environmental Protection Agency regulations pertaining to California’s Smog Check Program. I was also charged with addressing consumer concerns, remedies, and repairs relating to the maintenance of their cars. I also alleviated safety concerns in the shop, and performed minor shop maintenance. I was also required to make accurate estimates of the costs of repair work, and how long the car would be in the shop.

My duties have also included the repair and service of automobiles and other types of gas-powered vehicles. It included identifying and fixing problems with cars and trucks, and repairs to keep the vehicles in good condition and running smoothly. I have had many duties depending on the size and kind of shop in which I worked. In smaller shops, I would do all kinds of repair work, like simple engine tune-ups to the tearing-down, repairing and rebuilding of complete power systems. I also service and repair electrical systems, suspensions and steering systems, brakes, air conditioning and heating, engine and cooling, and all necessary mechanical checks.
.
I would appreciate an interview and the opportunity to give you more details about myself. Thank you for your consideration and I am eager to become part of your big family and grow prosperous together.
