I am a PhD candidate at the Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES), Stockholm University.

My research interests are mainly related to topics in Development Economics, Political Economy and Behavioural Economics.

In my projects, I study political institutions, social structures and norms, especially in the context of development interventions. My work aims at understanding the persistence of institutions and inequalities, the potential of development policies to remodel them, and how existing social and political structures interact with the design and implementation of development programs. In my job market paper, I investigate how citizens value alternative institutional settings for collective decisions, and test whether the experience on inclusive institutions affects how citizens value them.

For my research work, I rely mainly on primary sources of data collected through field experiments, lab-in-the-field experiments or laboratory experiments.

I will be available for interviews at the ASSA 2019 Meeting in Atlanta and at the European Job Market in Naples.
