Beginning Karate Practice

Beginners can start practicing karate practice at any age. (Children must be at least 7 years old.) Ideally, you will practice of karate throughout your life, so are never too old to start. All you need to do is come to your first practice.

Beginners should wear comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity such as a t-shirt and shorts or yoga pants.

Since we are a non-profit organization, we do not make a profit from selling you uniforms or belts. You may purchase an SKA karate uniform after you have practiced for 2 months or so from us at cost, or a plain, white karate uniform from any retailer.
