What lies in the ruins





Supplies Needed.

Scrap kit by Tootypup Scraps called What Lies In The Ruins. You can purchase it here

Mask made by me. Just click the thumbnail and either copy and paste into your psp or save as jpeg.


Tube of choice. I am using the free art by Zindy. You can download the artwork here

Filters needed

Xero Serious Fog
Sparkle filter of choice.



Lets get started.

Open masktwi. Minimise for now.

Open a new transparent image Width and Height 600 Pixels.

Open tp-plainframe4. Copy and paste into your image.

Select the inside of your frame using your magic wand

Selections - modify - expand - 8 pixels.

Select the bottom layer.

Layers - New Raster

Flood fill with black.

Apply a sparkle filter to give star effect.

Keep selected

Open paper tp-paper6

Copy and paste into your image.

Layers - new mask layer - from image

In the drop down menu select the mask

Source luminance checked. Invert mask unchecked.

Layers - merge - merge group

In your layers menu to the right lower the opacity to 50%

Selections - invert

Ctrl X to remove any excess.

Keep selected.

Open tp-moon1b

Copy and paste as a new layer

Image - resize - 20%

Position where you like. (see mine for reference)

Keep selected

Open tp-oldchurch5

Copy and paste into your image

Image - resize - 60%

Position to the right.

Ctrl X to remove excess

Keep Selected

Open tp-window6

Copy and paste into your image.

Image - resize - 40%

Position to the left of the old church

Ctrl X to remove any excess

Selections - select none

Open tp-vintagelamp3

Copy and paste into your image

Image - resize - 15%

Position to the left of your image.

Open tp-gravestone1

Copy and paste into your image.

Image - resize - 20%

Position where you like

Layers - new raster layer

Using your selection tool draw out a rectangle just a little larger than the inside of the frame.

Go to effects - plug ins - xero serious fog and use the settings below


 
This is to give an eerie feel to it.

Selections - select none

Select the frame layer

Open tp-vintagelamp4

Copy and paste into your image

Image - resize - 35%

Position to the right of the frame

Open tp-Swirl5

Copy and paste into your new image

Image - resize - 20%

Image - rotate - right - 90'

Position bottom left of your frame

Layers - duplicate

Image - mirror. Image - flip

Add your tube.

Resize if needed.

Position on the bottom part of the frame

Open tp-lamps1

Copy and paste into your image

Image - resize - 30%

Position on the top left of your frame so it looks like they are draped there.

Add your name and any copyrights. Don't forget to use any license numbers you have.

Save as PNG
