SIM Founder, President &
Owner

Jean Seward, P.T.

Jean is a physical therapist with over forty years of experience in providing services to the senior population of Denton and the surrounding area.

The critical need for this program was poignantly exemplified by the pain and postural deformities observed in her osteoporosis patients.  Intervention with education and exercise at an earlier point in their lives would have made a significant difference in preventing or modifying the pain and gait difficulty of their condition as well as bringing a quality of life to their advancing years.

She is also the president of JSCCS Corporation, which provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy as well as dietary and social work services to the Denton County area.

Parkinson’s and Caregivers Together, P.A.C.T., a family support group for participants or clients with Parkinson’s disease, has been directed by Jean for 10 years and sponsored by Seniors in Motion since 2003.
