Frequently Asked Questions

Q.How old do you have to be to join the facility?

A. We do not have an age limit; if you are old enough to workout, you can participate in our program.

Q. Why do I need to have an assessment?

A. Because Seniors in Motion offers the Assisted Fitness program and each person's program is individualized, we need to have as much information about each participant as possible. All the information such as vital signs, circumference measurements, and results of aerobic, muscular strength test, balance test and range of motion test are from the initial assessment are going to be the baseline of each individual's exercise program.

Q. Do I need to sign a contract?

A. NO, we do not have contracts. Monthly participation fees are due at the ends of the month (for the fore-coming month). However if you are to be absent for the whole month(s), you are not obligated to pay for the month(s).

Q. If my assessment is in the middle of the month, do I still pay for the whole month?

A. No, the dues for the FIRST month will be prorated based on the days remaining in the month. You are not to be charged for the first part of the month before your first exercise session. For details, please ask SIM staff.
