Senior Seminar: Civics is designed to give students the knowledge and skills to become engaged citizens.  The course begins with an overview of the levels of government and the way in which individuals, organizations and businesses interact with government to influence public policy.   The major focus of the course is an Action Research Project which allows students to do in depth scholarly and field research on a topic of their choice and culminates in a community presentation night in May.  Students will also perform a minimum of 10 hours of community service during the course.

*For the 2014-15 school year, I am teaching part time so I am in school on A days but available on B days on email, when necessary.
