I am a third-year PhD student in the department of Informatics at the School of Information and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. My advisor is Dr. Gillian Hayes, I work with the Star Group, and I work in the LUCI lab.

My research interests are diverse, but are primarily focused on designing, building, and evaluating systems in the fields of ubiquitous computing and computer support cooperative work. In particular, I am interested in creating context sensitive capture and access systems through supporting human activities by making people more aware of the various processes that compose those activities. This has included exploring ubiquitous computing technologies and their application to domains such as health and populations with special needs, focusing on understanding how to educate and encourage behavior in users. Recently, I have been focused on assisting people through the process of cooking and learning to cook.
