Self Assessment Rubric.htm

Assessing oneself is part of the learning process.  Through the assessment process, I have been able to evaluate not only what I beleive regarding educational technology and what my goals are, but I have been able to judge what progress I have made toward those goals.  When I started this program, my expectations and concepts of educational technology were much different than they are now.  I have learned many new and exciting technology skills that I look forward to implementing next year in my new position as a librarian.  In addition, I have reaffirmed the fact that technology is an ongoing and everchanging field.  In order to be effective and to stay current, I will have to continuously re-evaluate my technology skill set, what emerging technology is available, and how I can effectively integrate that technology into the curriculum on my campus.
