SEG STUDENT CHAPTER of New Mexico Tech
We are both a student chapter of the national Society of Economic Geologists and a New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology Student Government recognized club.
Our mission is to promote interest and understanding of ore deposits among the student community at New Mexico Tech. We do this principally through guest speakers and field trips to mines. We welcome students with an interest in ore deposits and mineral collecting. You don't have to major in Geology or Mining and Minerals Engineering to participate in our activities and functions.
